Pros

Great base salary. The first month is fun. The CEO is awesome. Pretty much the Steve jobs of produce. All the coffee and Red Bull you can drink!

Cons

Turnover rate is ridiculously high. Commission is impossible to make. No transparency between departments. No transparency in the sales department. Micromanagement is an understatement. Expected to meet unrealistic quotas after the first month. No job security. The company will never grow out of Fresno with such poor management. The bathroom door in the office is paper thin so zero privacy.

Great place for new hires

Pros

ProducePay has a ton of smart and talented people who you can learn and grow with. The current Product and Engineering teams seem very strong, and the CTO is very engineering focused. He fought to give COL raises to engineers, and also fought for Engineering bonuses when they were originally denied. Don't agree fully with how the transition was handled, but new engineers joining the team will be taken care of and have the opportunity to grow.

Cons

CTO has a very tough love oriented approach which doesn't meld well with everyone. Taking a lot of blame right now, but some people were most likely going to leave regardless of new CTO due to burn out. Some leaders are also a bit green, so sometimes it gets a bit rocky.

Cons

Frequent changes in policies and rules due to not intelligent decision makers. High employee turnover rate. Often get stuck in endless blame games and politics. Deteriorating company culture and quality of managment.
