Pros

My manager was amazing. Benefits are good. I had great co-workers.

Cons

No room for advancement. All that matters is the bottom line. The company did poorly for several quarters and began cost cutting. Managers could no longer take employees out for lunch. They laid off 75 employees to cut cost but somehow had the funds to give the CEO a boost to her already 7 figure salary the same year. They put on a facade about caring about the commumity.

Pros

Good salary and excellent benefits. Flexible work schedule.

Cons

Search for the Glassdoor review posted on March 7, 2018. It is accurate to this day. Very political environment. The technology division operates in a highly matrixed environment with committees - This means decisions are made through political lobbying and how well-liked you are by the senior-most person(s) on the committee. There is effectively no investment in creating good leaders. Premier promotes a hero culture that celebrates individuals who do the work of many people, especially persons in leadership who enjoy doing the work of their direct reports. Upper management generally consists of folks who have been their many, many years who believe they have it all figured out. Problems are generally attended to in a passive-aggressive manner; if you ignore it, hopefully, it will go away. Don't be surprised if you end up with a non-communicative manager - the hero culture encourages managers to collect as many direct reports as possible (up to 20 sometimes) but then do much of the work that should be delegated to that team - Meaning there is no time for leadership to develop or be expressed.
