Pros

- It's located in a college town, and therefore the commute is bearable and the cost of living is probably below the national average. - There are some great, fun coworkers to surround yourself with. - The dress is casual. Some people wear flip flops. -If you've ever spoken to someone on the phone, can do basic arithmetic and Google information you don't already know, congratulations, you have the necessary skills to perform the work required. -Benefits are probably the best I've seen. They beat all the other benefits I had before I started working at Memdata. Vision, dental, health, life, 401k, employee stock option, many many vacation days and a few extra holidays that the company recognizes. -There are snacks in the break-room (sometimes). -Overtime pay (which you'll have to work to meet deadlines) is provided to hourly employees.

Cons

- Cannot compete with other companies who hold the same objective in cost savings. Client retention is a problem, and so is employee retention within the company. -Pay is far below the national average for the similar roles. - Although the skill level required is nominal, the workload and expectation placed on the employees is unbearable. There are times during the year when each analyst will have up to 30 ongoing projects at single time. Simple napkin math will show that it is physically impossible to meet the production demands promised to the clients. Management expects daily updates on projects. Don't even think about giving a logical, reasonable answer because management wont accept it. -Leadership insists on work practices and unnecessary SOPs that hinder productivity, or simply don't work. -No career opportunities within the company. No investment into the employee.

Pros

Flexibility in being able to work remote when needed, decent yearly bonus, nice employee recognition program, on-site fitness offerings for free

Cons

Once Premier went public and started acquiring companies, I feel it definitely lost a lot of what I came there for. I no longer felt like part of the team, and often felt confused about my role in the organization. I also was expected to bring employees from a newly acquired company into the Premier fold, and was given absolutely no direction as to how to do that; so, I totally winged it. Constant re-organizations and down-sizing left me feeling afraid for my own job.

Pros

Fair Pay, Fair Work. I work in the NY office (Which was recently bought out by Premier Inc). Good work-life balance overall.

Cons

Don't really invest in their Employees, their Insurance plan SUCKS. Can be slow at times... Entry-Level Employees don't experience much growth.
