There's a lot to learn at Philz when it comes to coffee and people! It's gratifying to make cups of love for regulars and new folks. Turning "first-timers" intro regulars daily.

Clearer paths for growth beyond General Manager.

Pros

You have HR, clear expectations, guidelines, etc. Good first barista job and supervisor experience. The coffee is good and it's fun sometimes

Cons

Felt like higher-ups sometimes cared more about profit than people. The store was extremely busy and we would work so hard with deliveries and non-stop orders and there was no incentive for employees to work faster or harder because the tips were very bad and didn't get any from the deliveries
