Pros

Working with enthusiastic people who are excited and proud to serve the best cup of coffee in the bay. As baristas are brand representatives for the company and the larger Bay Area, each person on the Philz team is unique and special in their own way.

Cons

Pay was okay (but that's why you have tip). Working as a barista, there wasn't too much opportunity for professional growth.

fun, great co-workers, nice and loyal customers, great coffee! Management is really good about scheduling if you have other obligations or want to take time off for vacation.

Cons

weekends are really busy and you usually have to work at least one of the days.
