Pros

Good if you're a people person and get along well with all kinds of people. This is a good job if you don't really care about putting out the best product or doing your best. Good position for someone who's looking to just show up and collect a paycheck.

Cons

Applied, interviewed, and was hired for a leadership position. After I'd quit my other job I was told I'm not a good fit for that position and that I'd be working in an entry-level position. Company is more focused on making sure each team member feels "part of the family" rather than making sure everyone is following rules and guidelines. I've seen coworkers blatantly ignore health guidelines, making myself and my friends sick (I no longer consume the products we make). Nothing is really done when reports are made to the manager You basically have to demand for your legally required breaks. Management will make you clock out a few minutes early so that they don't have to give you a meal break. You have no power to enforce company rules with the customers. E.g. Dogs are not allowed inside, however management will not back you up when you try to make an owner take their pets out of the store.

Pros

Benefits (Healthcare, vision, dental) after 60 days of working for Philz. An education benefit program is being piloted. Starting Hourly wage is higher than other service jobs. Super flexible with hours and time off The people are super fun to work with and are very friendly and supportive. Easy to transfer and move up if you have a good work ethic.

Cons

Sometimes the upper management can be a little clueless to the teams needs. The facilities team can be a little slow to get a repairman out or send a replacement. Long lines means the work can sometimes be stressful if the workload isn't being delegated evenly.

Pros

The people I have met in my two years working at Philz are some of the best I've met in my life. I've made amazing connections here with fellow co-workers and customers. They are really good at working with your schedule for the most part.

Cons

Upper management is terrible. Particularly the district managers. I've gotten a door slammed in my face at a store I was helping out at by a store lead and I've heard of one DM calling a coworker of mine a 'witch' with a b. They say they care about their employees but there is no room for growth, despite them growing way more than what they are ready for.
