Training is vastly inadequate at all levels, management is under qualified, unable to take accountability, and oblivious, scheduling is inconsistent, tight, and rarely given in much advance, not to mention Philz as a corporation is currently involved in a $2 million lawsuit for unfair labor practices

i loved this job when i started as a barista (still wasn't enough pay but i did enjoy it). now im making around $2 more/hr than baristas and doing 100x the work. i've asked my friends outside of work to read off the list of responsibilities i have and asked them to guess what my title was and all of them said assistant manager or store manager. additionally, the turnover rate is pretty rough because you're giving people minimum wage and then only 20 hours a week if they're lucky. the fact that when the minimum wage went up for fast food workers they responded by increasing our minimum wage "even though they didn't need too but felt it was the right thing to do" and wanted us to be grateful? this company doesn't care about their people in the slightest. you keep telling us people complain about the wait time but do nothing to staff the stores more to cut that wait time down and instead tell us to move faster but careful! make sure to keep the quality the same!! bettering people's days only applies to executives, CEOs, and customers.
