Pros

Great brand, great products, high on pricing but customers love their products. Good frontline/sales staff

Cons

Politics, run by dinosaurs who havent done anything else but worked for Philips for close to 25 years. There are a number of them. Overall strategy is joined up and reactive and usually a few years behind the market

Pros

The products save and improve lives.

Cons

Recent moves toward a very controlled workplace: All work moving to Agile teams with mandatory morning stand-ups, little to no personal work space, and no telecommuting.

Pros

The benefits scheme is good that’s about it.

Cons

Warehouse group leaders bully staff, don’t stick to their shifts like they are meant to. Spend more time drinking tea and finding ways to sack people then actually working. You have to work 3 shifts unless you are female or are friends or relatives with someone in the office then you can work double days. Moral is at an all time low everybody is running a round trying to do the work of two people due to not being able to keep staff and then it’s still not good enough for them. Most of the warehouse staff are looking for a new job to get away from the company. The warehouse Group Leaders are corrupt and will cover anything up that will show them as being bully’s even stopping you from going to see HR department without them arranging it for you so they can find out what it’s about first.
