      Employee friendly policies. Unlimited sick leaves

      Cons

      1.To use employee friendly policies Manager has to agree 2. Micro management 3. If you are android or iOS developer please don’t join as opportunities for growth is very limited. 4. Don’t seek any help from HR . As they are just puppets of managers. If you approach hr for help , managers will make life hell. 5. Favouritism/ biased for few favourite employees. I can just go on and on with con’s list .

      Philips GBH NO Job Security

      Work From Home. Nothing much other than that.

      Cons

      No Job Security, There will always be a sense of Job threat with everyone there right from top management in GBH till the lower level. The Netherlands (NL) leadership team is very aggressive but they plan without clarity of thoughts. "Do not want to quote any examples here". Biased, The Management forms perception very soon about the employee and tries to corner and cutoff as early as possible. Chennai Philips GBH is completely in hands of NL Management. The Top Management in GBH hears only the tune of NL and they have very less power to cover the Chennai Employees. Salary part, every year the GBH is making some changes and have removed some additional benefits which were given as out of CTC.

      Very ethical company that allows successful people to continue in their roles

      Cons

      They do not promote a culture of growth. Many times when a new (higher level) position is created they have already selected their candidate and there is a feeling that they will not support career advancement
