Pros
Good Entry Level into Industry for newcomers, Flexible Scheduling
Cons
Low wage potential, no growth opportunities to internal employees, no respect/loyalty to employees who have been there through tough times, heavy emphasis on hiring trade school graduates with little to no knowledge putting heavy weight on senior techs to train and develop, heavy emphasis on corporate SOP's which are changed on a "flavor of the month" basis that often never involve real world cost/benefit analysis leaving most mid-level and store management to micro manage on an hourly basis. "Chinese" labor/flat rate system that can become incalculable leaving you not to be paid for overtime hours you have accumulated due to the companies ability to not be able to retain quality staffing. Complacent regional/district management unaware of current talent pool that would love opportunities for advancement. The associate, touted as the company's best asset, but not nearly compensated as an asset should, is looked upon as a rule breaking, thieving individual who must be watched at all times. 'Anonymous' company surveys are tracked down to their IP address to find the individual who brought down the company score. Unfortunately, I feel like I could go all day on this con section. This is not a disgruntled rant. These are the issue(not all of them) that I have experienced over time with the company. I left on my own terms and found a position in another field
