Pros

I service personal cars, pick up trucks and commercial fleet trucks on a daily basis. I enjoy interacting with the customers and clients on a daily basis, diagnosing and resolving their issues.

Cons

The location is becoming a burden, 34 miles each way from my home. Traffic is always a nightmare in the evening.

Pros

Paid ASE training, easy to advance, simple computer system to learn. Those are the only things that might make pep boys a good place to work for.

Cons

Long hours 55+a week, low pay across all levels, constant upper management changes, always open on holidays, poorly trained staff, computers outdated, computer system hardly works, all shop equipment is old and barely hanging on, company does not care if a customer yells at you
