Pros

Nice CEO and international trip before Covid

Cons

Too many manual work and very slow on changes. Too nice to those old employees who always mess up at work but always get the benefit. No reward, no promotion and no respect to real contributors. Obvious racism! Almost no minorities in middle or senior management, 99% are white people. No change even we have annual WeSay survey, problems always there year after year without any actions for change. NY office is literally empty since Mar 2020, no clear plan on hybrid mode, only delivered delayed open office announcement at least 5 times. No growth at all though you showed your initiation to do different things, managers are ignored your eager to grow, only ask you to keep doing repetitive works.

Pros

Happy hours and free lunch on biweekly Friday If you are good at flattering your boss, you will be fine regardless of talent or experience

Cons

HR is very monetary driven. She cares about paying less more than how to develop, protect, and understand employees. When things went wrong, HR is useless and uses her power to be managers' side Extremely unhappy talent pool of employees Majority of current employees are finding the exit as soon as they opt another opportunity outside Army culture is strongly influenced in management style which they preferred to command and obey. Don't appreciate whom to raise their different opinions Not allowed to extend private time after business trip although it's weekend and you pay for yourself. No career development opportunity

Pros

As a whole the company offers nice incentives to their employees. This was the first time I received gift cards, gifts, gym reimbursement and great healthcare. However, when you have an individual that wants to belittle you, micromanage, and do everything in their power to make you miserable, not even those incentives can make you stay.

Cons

A manager can raise false accusations without any evidence, to HR and higher management and they will take the manager’s word and word only, for facts. Even when the employee provides HR with the evidence of the lies the manager has raised, the employee is not taken into consideration. It is evident that management can abuse their authority without any disciplinary action, especially when it’s against a person of color. It seems Payoneer fails to uphold their values of transparency and inclusion.
