      -GREAT experience -actively gay-friendly -smart people -highly creative environment -global impact

      Cons

      -insulting compensation -unreasonable deadlines -company runs on disposable labor (i.e. freelancers) -talent retention doesn't really happen (see above) -many layers of approval needed to get things done

      Viacom as an Employer

      Pros

      Viacom is unique culture. It takes both an emersion in the old way of doing things and a strong self-propulsion to succeed. More simply, its easy to stay small at Viacom but if approached correctly, you can get your hands on an amazing amount of accountability.

      Cons

      Its a great resume builder but best not to stay in the building too long (like I did!) as salaries are not competitive and work life balance can sometimes be a little out of wack, especially during the summer months.
