Old-fashioned strategies, cheap with employees
Pros
People here care about fitness and sports and are generally quite knowledgeable in this field.
Cons
Management isn't interested in new technology and its members frequently say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." They also have no problem raking in tons of money while letting employees work just above poverty to do meaningful marketing, advertising, communications, customer service and other "corporate" responsibilities. They tend to want all the ideas without paying you. Best part is they don't give you the resources to follow-through on those ideas. They also micromanage so much that the new (and much more financially logical and successful) strategies are dumbed down to the same old way of doing marketing and advertising. Follow-through on promised promotions and raises is slim to none. Out of the few I saw, less than half received. Those who did receive a promotion were brown-nosers who were decent workers but not qualified and took credit for others' work. The "office facilities" and store are absolutely disgusting, with mice and cockroaches coming from under desks, keyboards and shelving. Office workers work hourly and are monitored closely like delinquents, including putting bags in a shared space where basically any employee can steel from another. At the very least your bag will smell heavily of weed.
