      Pros

      Kind people. Hard workers. OK atmosphere. Local branch manager stays positive despite adversity and gives good support to his staff.

      Cons

      Panalpina has become a data entry driven company. There is little knowledge left at a local level. Those with knowledge of operations seem to get overworked and their dedication goes unrewarded. Difficult to move up since most employees are assigned single function roles. Many processes are outsourced to business centers in other countries and there is little sense of teamwork among coworkers and other business units or business centers. Not the place to go if you have long term career goals. High employee turnover rate.

      Pros

      They allow you to work individually without too much supervision .

      Cons

      They use too many separate computer programs . There are not a lot of internal promotion abilities . They are very slow in hiring new staff

      Pros

      Pay is good. Employee Bonus and Reward programs available. Financially stable company to work for. Good health care benefits.

      Cons

      This company takes no consideration for family life. The amount of hours this company expects you to work are extreme. They try to keep their costs down by hiring as few people as possible which causes overwhelming work load for the employee. For being a financially successful company it is beyond me why they refuse to hire enough staff needed for the job. Many employees are burned out and unhappy working here. Upper management has been approached concerning these issues and no corrective action steps were taken by them. Very poor upper management
