Panalpina has become a data entry driven company. There is little knowledge left at a local level. Those with knowledge of operations seem to get overworked and their dedication goes unrewarded. Difficult to move up since most employees are assigned single function roles. Many processes are outsourced to business centers in other countries and there is little sense of teamwork among coworkers and other business units or business centers. Not the place to go if you have long term career goals. High employee turnover rate.
