Pros

- Hands on experience resolving physical conflict - Problem solving skills - Become great at multi-tasking - Allows you to work under pressure - Only security company that owns 90% of hospitals within GTA and Canadian regions. - Mental Health work experience. - Will make you feel grateful once you leave and work elsewhere, knowing that you're paid more at the other job(s). To sum it up, a great work experience for a career within law enforcement; Excluding CBSA.

Cons

- VERY BAD PAY RATE. - A lot of disrespect. - You're basically a servant and get disrespected constantly. - Drama infested workplace with no support from team-members. - VERY Negative and dangerous environment since you cannot perform the restraints you've learned. - Your co-workers take out their anger on you and each other. - Multiple desk stations in which get's flooded with stress.. To sum it all up, working at the West 5th Campus will provide you with the excellent work experience you want, but due to the high amount of pressure you face, negativity, and no support from your own team-members, you will eventually burn out and start to become mentally stressed. The pay is minimum wage for all positions. Site Supervisor pay is only literally 50 cents more. What a joke. You will get paid more for babysitting for at a different security company.

Pros

There are no pros to share on this company.

Cons

Culture of "oldest get the best". No merit, no evaluation on the empployee capabilities over his/her assignment. False promises. High level of internal lobby and politics. Centralized decisions, high human flawed evaluations. High segregation between Security Officers, Office workers, Management and high management; no blend and team build for every employee as an equal. Overdemanding Management on every level. Low payment for a professinoal that puts his life on the line as one of the first individuals in the scenes.

Thank you for your response, we're sorry to hear that your experience so far hasn't been great. We work very hard to create a fantastic corporate culture and, being recognized as one of Canada's Best Corporate Cultures, we're humbled and proud to know that a lot of our peel feel that we have. We believe in constant and never ending improvement, and value your feedback. Paladin is the only security company to have devoted Employee Care Coordinators at each branch that are dedicated solely to the concerns of our people. We'd strongly encourage you to bring these specific issues forward to your ECC so that we can work with you to resolve them in a manner that will demonstrate to you our commitment to our people. Thank you very much and we look forward to working through these issues with you.
