Pros

Strong culture where employees are valued and our opinions are taken into account. "Open door" policy to talk to management about anything you have on your mind. I love the appreciation they sow towards me and my coworkers, because we're the ones working hard day in and day out to ensure the company remains successful.

Cons

They do a great job of listening to any concerns and adjusting policies accordingly so there really aren't any cons to address here.

Hi there. Thank you for your feedback. We have a number of employee resources available. Our company intranet referred to as the Employee Resource Centre is our central hub containing a wide range of information and resources like: online training, uniform requests, etc. Is this something you've had the chance to look at? If there is something you are looking for specifically, please contact your local Employee Care Coordinator. Thank you.

Good stepping stone, but don't stay too long

Pros

Provides exposure to crimes and gives decent life experience. Also gives a small, but limited glimpse of what you can expect if you move on to a career as a police officer.

Cons

Very low pay for the amount of responsibility and workload you're given. (Could flip burgers and make the same mount.) There's no incentives to stay with the company long term. If your goal is to be a police officer, don't waste your time with this company. Stay with what you're at and gain experience that way.

Thank you for your review. Please know that your feedback is taken into consideration and that we're proud of our culture of promoting from within. We've also been part of many employees' careers who started as Security Officers who then went on into Policing, as our training equips them with the necessary skills and experience.
