      Pros

      Great working environment, with some really talented people working there. Cutting edge IT is some areas, with the focus on technology.

      Cons

      Poor understanding and pursuit of processes - Needed to become accustomed to implementing change control across Dev, Staging & Prod areas rather than just Prod. Senior (Exec) management out of touch and arrogant.

      Pros

      Betfair are not afraid to embrace new technologies and processes. sometimes they make mistakes, but that's how you move forward. I've worked with brilliant people there and learned a lot.

      Cons

      Sometimes the life at Betfair was too chaotic. Some projects had unrealistic timelines that led to long hours and really was affecting my work-life balance. Too many re-orgs.
