Pros

Paid training, instructors in Dayton want you to succeed. They are there to help. Training center is very nice.

Cons

Not paid good at all, horrible, sucks being on reserve. Not what I expected. Some Check flight attendants and senior flight attendants are very mean. They are not there to help new FA succeed. If they are not happy with their jobs, please move on.

Pros

Company is owned and operated by American Airlines

Cons

As a result of Collective Bargaining agreements and companies approach to labor relations, pay does not increase with industry demand.

Pros

I love that training is paid and love working for a small regional airline. I truly feel like a community member. I've made wonderful friends here! Plus getting to fly around for free is awesome!

Cons

The pay is not as high as mainline airlines and being on reserve sucks because many of the bases aren't hubs (you don't fly as much if you're not Charlotte based).
