Pros

-Possible growth from within company -Great networking opportunities

Cons

PSA Airlines has changed significantly over the years, and unfortunately not for the better. Many employees feel undervalued unless they are within certain circles or favored by leadership. Across multiple departments, hard work often results in additional responsibilities rather than recognition or support. Since the move from Dayton to Charlotte, employee morale and appreciation appear to have declined. Policies have become increasingly restrictive, and the workplace culture feels heavily focused on micromanagement. Employees are required to work in office multiple days a week for roles that could reasonably be performed remotely, while also being subjected to unnecessary monitoring practices that negatively impact morale. One of the most disappointing aspects has been the lack of loyalty shown toward long term employees during the relocation process. Many individuals who dedicated 15 to 20 years to the company were effectively forced to relocate or leave, often without compensation packages that reflected the cost and life disruption associated with such a move. Compensation is below industry expectations for many positions, advancement can feel political, and employees frequently report feeling overworked and unsupported. Unfortunately, many workers feel HR exists more to protect the company than advocate for employees. There are still good people throughout the organization, but overall the environment has become increasingly difficult, especially for those who remember what the company used to be. My advice to anyone considering joining is to carefully evaluate whether the culture, compensation, and work life balance align with what you are looking for long term. I genuinely hope the company takes steps to improve employee relations, morale, and transparency because many hardworking people deserve better support and leadership.
