Pros

It's a good beginner company and the standby list doesn't go by seniority , it's small so you actually get to know your company workers

Cons

The pay is way to low for the amount of work to be done ... management needs some sprucing and things could be more organized

Working under the American Airlines umbrella is a pro for the travel benefits.

Cons

Working under the American Airlines umbrella means you're treated as second-rate because you are a regional airline. Regional airline pay is extremely low. Company morale is low too. There is also a ridiculously unfair attendance policy in place that has gained much attention by union members.
