Pros

As a flight attendant i met some great people at PSA that are now my lifelong friends.

Cons

Mediocre pay for the labor you are putting in... Many senior flight attendants were not welcoming to newbies... Had to stay on Payroll because my checks were frequently incorrect. Physically exhausting job. Yes you get travel benefits but don't have the time or money to utilize them.

Don’t let the high score fool you

Pros

Steady employment. Internal job opportunities.

Cons

The company is begging us to leave a review, so here it goes… Upper management could give a fat rats patootie about anyone or anything that affects their bottom line. Nothing is off limits to squeeze a dime out of. As long as there’s a steady line of prospective FA’s in line for the next opening, nothing will change. The (mandatory) union isn’t much help. There’s NO excuse for years of contract negotiations while your employees are paid poverty level wages. I can pretty much guarantee that these aren’t read by the company, but the cute response of “Thanks for the review” will be present. Reserve life is downright ABUSIVE! When you hold a line, it gets a little better, but they still don’t give a hoot about you.

PSA Airlines Response

At PSA, we strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for all team members. We understand the challenges of reserve life and the importance of Flight Attendants’ compensation. Our inflight team has embarked on a comprehensive long-term plan to transform how the team operates. They have introduced several key initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, enhancing internal communication, improving our training programs and supporting our employees. Additionally, we continue to make progress at the bargaining table regarding Flight Attendants’ wages and work rules. We acknowledge your concerns and will keep them in mind as we continue to evaluate our policies and procedures. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our senior leadership team.
