Pros

The work environment in PDVSA is friendly and very familiar. All the co-workers have a good treatment to each other, and usually are supportive to the others needs.

Cons

In comparison to the international Oil and Gas market, the PDVSA salaries are below the media, and some times are very low.

Pros

- There is a lot of room for growth, both personal and professional during the first 3-4 years. - Competitive salaries, but nothing extraordinary. However, the benefits are in the very top of the market. - Depending on the division, there will be a clear professional path laid out from your first day, including many training activities and courses.

Cons

- Politics play a major role in the company. If you support the government, you will be in the fast track for promotions, if not, think about building your CV for 3-4 years and leave as there will be no growth after that.
