Pros

Pros – Great chance to work in a highly professional, international yet ethical job. If you are lucky there are travel opportunities. Lots of opportunities to work with people around the world. Friendly working culture. Good offices. Good for the CV.

Cons

Cons – Can seem removed from the field work on the ground. HR is focused only on developing top management and people on lower level jobs tend to be very talented/experienced but move on due to lack of encouragement/development. Pay is low (but you wouldn't work there for the money).

Pros

To work with the disadvantaged communities and help in empowering them. To also experience what it means to change the life of the less privileged in society

Cons

at times the processes can be bureacratic, lots of work with little pay
