Pros
If you want, you can take all the time off you need. There's no shortage of employees at Old Navy. Some people are on the payroll for months and don't even work at all. Soon there will be a 25% discount of Old Navy employees at that store, and a 50% off at Gap and Banana Republic. Also, many people call out a lot of times. This is a great chance for more hours.
Cons
The hours are scarce and management doesn't know when to stop hiring. Our raises are solely based on results of a survey customers are given. Most of the time, the people filling out these surveys are ticked of customers who want to criticize us. Well... at least we're given raises, even though small ones. Thank goodness our raises aren't based on sales growth, or our wage will actually go down. When people call out, it usually means I have to do more work. Management does a horrible job in holding people responsible for being unreliable, I wish there was a number rating for that along with the other things I rated. The thing I hate most is that the corporate idiots keep changing their minds when it comes to where stuff should go. Seems like we're changing stuff all the time and it's hard to keep up where everything is. This makes it difficult to find things when putting stuff back,or finding something for someone. I wish management would stop focusing on those credit cards and start focusing on their staff. The hours are so few, that it probably wouldn't be worth it to reward an employee since they barely work. Seems like the money saved from credit cards just gets eroded by theft. Maybe the company would make more by having less stuff stolen than trying to force people to get credit cards.
