      Pros

      The company is reputable. Guys are great to work with. Terrific pay and benefits. Love the job.

      Cons

      Managment has an ax to grind with their associates. They seem to hate them probably, because of their Union pay and benefits. They literally try to screw them out of every benefit there is. They don't do this to their favorites however. Many guys don't say anything because they are afraid of being laid off or retaliated against by being transfered far from home. The Union reps should visit sites more and catch whats going on so the guys aren't the ones retaliated against. Managment is totally and utterly shameful.

      Pros

      I enjoyed working with some pretty talented and nice people. I worked with the Union elevator guys and they were thoughtful, kind and appreciated office support and office liasions for administrative needs.

      Cons

      Mangement was pigeon holed cowards. They are stuck in the 80's thinking that the world still believes in the good ole boy network which limits technical advancement and new way of thinking. When i left and worked for other major companies I was surprised with all the advancedments available to do one's job. The local office is so behind the time and because the political game is so big you spend unnecessary time worrying if you are on the right team. Their smart people are insulted through isolation and the dummies run the place with silly social alliances.

      Pros

      Wonderful co-workers and environment on the local level; good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Huge disconnect between the average worker and upper management; communication is terrible. Top management has no interest in employee input. Despite annual employee satisfaction surveys, required ethics training and the appearance of open communication, sadly it is all propoganda - the spirit of ethics, communication and employee value do not exist.
