      Pros

      Professional organization. Pioneer in the industry that invests in the future. They also are committed to growing their own and building leaders.

      Cons

      Reps are penalized financially for cancellations of accounts, even if the cancellation was not caused by their negligence. Otis falls into the trap that most elevators do by lowering maintenance hours to continue to try and get high margins for their service. Ultimately the customer suffers from this.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work with some of the nicest people (non-management). Great stepping stone into the elevator world. They are number one in safety.

      Cons

      Ethics don't apply to management. It's preached but not practiced. Treatment of some employees by management walks that fine harassment line. Chauvinistic attitudes from bosses. Women are to be seen and not heard. HR will support management 100% of the time. HR & Management= Spin Doctor

      Pros

      The organization is filled with talented, knowledgeable senior engineers. Great place to learn and grow. Its a very stable company leading a mature industry that's not going anywhere.

      Cons

      Average compensation focused on inflation and severe cuts in benefits have left less of a reason to stay around at the company.
