Pros

Great people, hard working and willing to help each other out. Team atmosphere, most are willing to go the extra mile to assist and/or share resources.

Cons

Senior Management lacks loyalty to its subordinates, pressure to cut corners and manipulate "gray areas" for the sake of profit and bonuses at the expense of customers and employees.

Pros

Decent Pay if you can negotiate, commission is also nice. Health benefits are good.

Cons

The biggest red flag you should be aware of is their retention rate. The Account Managers typically don't last more than a year. Everyone at the branch level in office is overworked. As an AM you wear way too many hats and are involved in every aspect of the business, While this may sound nice, it becomes a major issue when you are the main point of contact for collections and new business development even though these departments are separate in themselves. A lean Six Sigma revamp would greatly benefit the company which lacks technological advancement. They also eliminated a lot of support roles in 2022 which made no sense. The longer standing members of the branch are stuck in the work harder not smarter mentality.

One of the best companies for women

Pros

Decent benefits, good company that supports diversity, one of the few companies left with clean work culture.

Cons

1. Women led fortune 500 company. Very bad company for men, very talented men stay at the same level or get forced to leave eventually. The balance that used to exist does not exist anymore. 2. low caliber offshore employees get promoted over highly qualified US employees. Yardstick for promotion does not get disclosed. 3. Unacceptably top-heavy! There is not one operating level, full-time person left in the company. Operational activities get outsourced. 4. Some of the old employees from UTC, notoriously known as "ole boys politicians club", still exist in the company. So certain level of contamination still exists on the business side.
