Absence of continuous improvement. Supervisors/Managers are not trained on their specific jobs or how to effectively lead and coach employees. Very little attention is given to employee concerns.

Management always reactive to problems, lack of strategy and poor judgement. Discipline is not enforced in the shop floor and firefighting is the way to go. Astonishing promotion criteria, friendship and/or speaking the "official" language of the company is the best way to build up your career. You will even see students climbing up the ladder faster than you, just because they have the right nationality. And forget about asking for support, you will be blamed for everything but never receive a direct and honest feedback. The plant morale is quite low and the turnover is high, you will suddenly find a new person working next to you, but you will not know who he/she is and what he/she does.
