Cons
worked at Nielsen and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The work culture felt very toxic, with a lot of favoritism and bias in decision-making. After leadership hires came in from Byju’s, a large portion of the Product and Tech organization was filled with people from the same network, and it often felt like opportunities and recognition were limited to that group. For others outside those circles, growth became extremely difficult despite hard work and contributions. Over time, it also seemed like the company lacked a strong long-term product vision and clear direction, which made the future feel uncertain from both a product and career perspective.
