Pros

Phone, New Car(you pay for), Lap top....

Cons

You pay for the car monthly, the bonus is total garbage unless you work yourself to the bone and are great at sales(still will make more at other sales jobs). Almost no one wants to participate and people flake on their appointments constantly(they google our company). Management is forced to micro manage even of they don't want to. Don't take my word for it, go google this company, no one likes participating and it is hard to cancel and take the equipment out(main reason people flake on your appointments. People will look up the company and change their minds(company solution to this is to tell them just to look at our social media). This job is trash, I'm looking for a new job right now.

Pros

Has been a very stable place with a great culture for the majority of my career here.

Cons

The new CEO has decided to basically set the place on fire. Long time employees with years of knowledge and experience are being terminated so their job can be taken by someone overseas with no experience and little training. This will have a severely negative outcome to the future of the company. Nielsen is imploding under the current failure of leadership.

Pros

Culture, Culture Culture! Nielsen can open many doors Nielsen Values stick with you wherever you go... Flexibility Unlimited time off

Cons

I don't usually spend time in writing reviews but this one was needed. Too many cons: Low Pay: This is probably one of the biggest reasons people leave. Pay in Nielsen is below the industry standard. Work-Life-Balance: Be prepared to work round the clock and crazy hours. Depending on what team you are on. If you are on the delivery team say goodbye to nights as you will be spending time with TCS. If you are on the client side, be prepared to deal with unhappy clients. Growth: There is a lot of political layers when it comes to growth doesn't matter which team you are on. if you are willing to grow in your career you will need to invest at least 60-70 hours a week until your performance review. Over my time at Nielsen I found out that if you want to grow you need to be able to make others like you.
