It pays the bills

Pros

The salary is competitive with great benefits. Nexidia employs some very smart people and most are pleasant. The client portfolio is impressive. Nice office location in Buckhead.

Cons

There is little formal process, so it is challenging getting most things done. The environment is reactive instead of proactive so it is unnecessarily fast-paced. Most in management have been at Nexidia for 7-10 years so the broken processes within groups and between groups have become business as usual. The technology is dated so the product's footprint is massive and simple system changes can take 10 hours. Late night and weekend work is the norm so the work-life balance is extremely poor.

stay away

Pros

work/life balance is good. that is why this is a great company for those who have families and kids. once in a while you are asked to stay late, but usually no one checks your hours. in addition, lunch is available in a dining room which saves time to go to restaurants. gym is also available, very cheap.

Cons

this is a company that states with arrogance they earn more than a billion dollars a year. but what about your employees? what about the salaries? what about events for employees (fun days, parties etc)? Technology: this company does not pay a dime for 3rd party software that is not free/open source. Being a tech-leader-company or being innovative does not interest anyone in management.. As the company does not spend money on open events, or on sending employees to events, the brand "nice systems" is not familiar, so it is very hard to hire new *talented* employees. As salaries are low, and there are no raises, the talented employees leave, so the company is stuck with juniors or with those who do not believe in themselves enough to leave.

Pros

Remote employee, decent salary, advancement opportunities, they do smart hiring in order to avoid having layoffs

Cons

Israeli owned and the mentality shows, managed by overseas personnel who have no idea of what is norm in the US., It is a chop shop company- buy technology companies, get the technology, let the people go. when attrition occurs, they do not open billets to get new talent. You have to wear 20 different hats and the quality of life they preach is non existent
