Pros

Former CEO, Paul J, created an exceptional environment for steady growth (imagine always doing 32%+ cloud revenue growth every quarter) and sharing success with employees. This allows for happy employees to work hard for each other. - The extra star in review is because the business model with CCaaS / CX cloud will continue to grow and provide demand

Cons

Work-Life Balance and Employee Well-being - The company culture has led to stress-related health issues amongst employees, necessitating an on-site health clinic. Some managers and directors report difficulties maintaining a work-life balance due to frequent customer-related emergencies. Employment Stability and Transparency - Executives tout no layoffs, but that really means no severance package as workforce reductions continue and backfill reqs are transferred to other departments in a shell game as alternatives to formal layoffs. Performance Evaluation and Career Advancement - The performance evaluation system, while described as "pay for performance," uses a forced distribution curve. This approach ignores individual achievements and changes pay for performance to performance based on interpersonal relationships (good ole boys club) rather than objective performance data. Leadership and Management Style - Author and speaker Lencioni describes a skillful politician as "hungry and smart" but lacks humility. You can only find them with "dead bodies in their wake". There are a lot of skillful politicians in management right now. Cleverly ambitious, manipulative behavior that presents humility for self-gain (i.e. MVP of the team), and disrupts team cohesion are their calling cards. Organizational Priorities and Workload - Challenges with frequently changing priorities and an increasing number of events and outages. This contributes to workplace stress and affects overall job satisfaction. Communication and Trust Executive promises and actual delivery brings distrust in leadership. Open communication and open door policies sound good, but are used to hurt employees in performance reviews.

Thank you for your review. We, at NICE, have multiple processes in place to review our employees' performance and reward them accordingly. We hire top talent and our "pay for performance" culture ensures that strong performers are duly compensated. Moreover, our employee surveys consistently show that there is great satisfaction with our managers and executive leadership. We wish you the best of luck with your future career journey!

Pros

Monthly colorful celebration, good photos, snacks

Cons

1. Everyone in the team is burned out , you can literally check their faces to know how they are tackling situations mentally and physically. 2. Toxic lobby going on for promotions and appraisals, it you know to lure people you would definitely get a good cut. Talent is hardly recognised here. 3. Managers are mere puppets of senior folks and they are grossly incompetent yo manage the team and keep the spirit right. 4. HRBP gives a deaf ear to every complaints that are registered. 5. You get peanuts on the name of annual appraisal. 6. Useless parties to keep employees engaged. The fact is employees want recognition and appreciation but they never do that. 7.The vicious cycle of surveys which they promise are anonymous but these are the baitd to track employees and use it for absurdly throwing out that employee.

Pros

I enjoy the people that I work with. Flexibility/Autonomy in my role. Decent work/life balance. Plenty of vacation time

Cons

Support is terrible - challenging to keep customers happy Limited advancement opportunities even though they tout that 60% of openings are filled by internal candidates. While this may be true, you are better off going somewhere else for advancement quicker. Pay is stagnant - VERY LITTLE annual raises - they will say that they are pay for performance, but the pool used to fund merit is small and only a couple people on a team of 15 will actually get anything. So don't expect COLA increases. They addressed this in an all-hands call, and indicated that because voluntary attrition was so low, they aren't going to give much for annual merit - what a slap in the face for all of the hard workers that make this company so profitable. Benefits are okay, not great R&D focused on shiny new toy to sell rather than supporting current products They compensate their sales team the highest to sell, sell, sell, rather than pay for more resources in Dev to help solve issues in the product. Culture not great - every team is short-staffed, and people are burned out. Nobody going above and beyond anymore because there is no decent incentive of advancement or pay increases, so apathy has set in quite a bit. People will clock in and do their job, but there is no urgency on anything.

We, at NICE, have multiple processes in place to review our employees' performance and reward them accordingly. We are also proud of the fact that our annual bonus and merit processes occurred in 2023 and 2024, unlike many companies who have frozen their many of their compensation initiatives due to the volatile market at present. If you have any concerns, please speak to your manager or HR business partner.
