Entirely too political

Pros

Good benefits, nice location, great mission.

Cons

Terrible communication and a lack of defined direction for the organization. Value's are touted as important yet are rarely followed. There is a heavy political atmosphere rich in corner cutting and rewards who you know and not your contributions.

Pros

Flexibility, benefits, work life balance

Cons

The work-life balance (although I listed it as a pro) can be affected sometimes during peak seasons. Small company, little to no room for career advancement/growth.

Don't be fooled by the squeaky clean image

Pros

Good benefits, flexibility and vacation. The week between Christmas and New Years off with pay.

Cons

The upper management of FFA are paid enormous amounts of money which comes from donated money. They love to take credit for the hard work of the awesome employees who of which they have no regard for. They claim to be transparent but are the most secretive, backstabbing bunch of jerks I've ever worked for. They spend ridiculous amounts of donated money on their "Taj mahal" but employees can't even make a color copy! $125k on a kitchen that is falling apart! Back in the day, if you had a chair with arms on it and you were not high enough in the pecking order to be worthy of chair arms, they would steal your chair at night And replace it with a chair more suited to you job description or "class". The next morning, we would have to go hunt our chair down and wheel it back to our cube. They finally quit doing this. They also have no regard for the older women, they conviently eliminate their positions and force them out. Please support your local chapter, not National FFA.
