Pros

Flexible time. Good work environment. Pension. Health insurance. Life Insurance.

Cons

Salaries are low and kept frozen for over 5 years. Managers don’t care about employees and constantly make false promises to trick people on staying. Only selected people can work from home. Over 20% of employees leaving every year. Contractors are given only 3 months contracts, and are notified at the very last day that their contract won’t be renewed.

Pros

Campus, cafeteria, makes money despite itself.

Cons

Cuts and more cuts to benefits. leadership is stale. seems stuck in the past, claims to be innovative but with staff that has been there for 20 to 30 years on average, it's just a ploy to get customers from a dry pool. Median age of employee is in the low 50s. Sightings of Millennials is rare. Closely networked employees are the only ones who get promos, gridlocked organization due to legacy/older employees.

Pros

Starbucks at cafe. Cafeteria serves lunch High school style at Princeton prices.

Cons

MR US CEO is arrogant, condescending and egocentric. His direct reports do not bother advising him as he is German and knows everything. They just follow orders. Authorities are words on paper but none in reality. Everyone is micro managed. Different rules for different people. Accelerated career ladders for friends. Interviews are a farce as most often “special people” will get coached for interview by the interviewers. Office politics is overwhelming. Compensation is stagnant and not competitive. Bonus tied to lack of worldwide catastrophes. No bonuses were paid during Covid. Supplies were on the employees dime. pricing tools are antiquated. Layers of work arounds and multiple excel based tools. Blame shifting, managing out vs managing up employees and bullying/ fear tactics best describes management style -driven by CEO. Strategy changes at a whim. Communication is poor. Goals are vague. Careers are capped unless you are German, Risk trainee, or have a friend on BOD mgmt that will send a recommendation.
