Flexible work schedule. Fun work environment if you have the right team.

Cons

Corporate frequently changes their minds, causing managers and employees to have to change things multiple times under tight deadlines. Low pay. Little hours for part-time employees during the slow seasons. Hourly managers get paid low wages and get stuck performing the duties of both management and part-time associates when there are no hours to fully cover the floor.

-Good entry level management position -Day-to-day operations are fairly simple -Good place to work for a sports fan -Merchandise setup is very flexible - Sales floor is fairly easy to keep up

Cons

- Managers Salaries are not competitive at all - Little room for advancement -6 day work weeks and double shifts are commonplace with no comp time offered - Raises are nonexistent - Poor training for managers and staff Standard Retail: Low employee wages High turnover rate
