Pros

Working here actually made me better with people. I became really good at helping customers and satisfying their needs shopping-wise. Going above and beyond with my work here led to some rewards like a $25 gift card or tips/gratuities from customers.

Cons

Some things while working here could get frustrating, but overall the experience was very worth it.

Pros

I had worked for the company in over a year and i moved my way from a regular associate(7.25) to a full time supervisor for my department(9.00). Great company to work for if you have side expenses. Very cheap stuff to buy if you know how to look for them and using your benefits. Great place to work for if you're an athlete, everyone there including the costumers will appreciate your knowledge in sporting goods. Department managers in that store are the greatest employees there and are willing to help anyone in need. Easy store to maintain clean especially during rainy days. business in that store is great. if you're a good associate they will give you 20+ hours a week. The district managers is a great guide and can manager the stores extremely well.

Cons

Usually a lot of young people run the store, that can be a good thing or bad since you can mold them into great hardworking employees or bad ones. The majority of the upper core staff who work there have a strong personality, if you don't know how to defend your self you will see your self getting taken advantage of. The pay regardless of your position, is not worth saying there. The insurance the company gets you is a joke. They give you little pay for such high expectations and labor. less than 10 hours for part timers during slow times of the year. Working under the apparel department is a lot of stress due to the size of the department. The districts managers main concern is getting more profits and traffic for the company, even if that means making you do 5 moves in one month. No bonuses are available for the company, the only company's that get the bonuses are the stores in new York.
