Pros

I was paid above minimum wage when I started. Good discount Very organized

Cons

No hours - worked less than 15 hrs/week Short shifts of 4-6 hrs long 30 mins for lunch Favoritism - the managers would let certain ones hang out in the office while everyone was on floor working The switch- hired during the holiday season which is always risky, but when I applied for the position it didn't say seasonal and neither did the hiring sign at the front window. Was told hours after the season depends on performance, but stopped working shortly after the season. Management complains about how much they hate their job. I get that nobody ever really likes their job in retail, but it should be kept to a minimum. If it were the other way around and an employee always complained they would plots likely take it as they don't want the job and cut their hrs or let them go.

Pros

Weekend's off, All driver's start at 5 to 6am and usually are done with you're day by 4pm on average. OVERTIME! if you like to work overtime it will be given to you. As for the transportation department, i would have to say it was a laid back place to work. Good peaple in management for the most part. not too many complaint's here.

Cons

Wow, the major no no at this company would have to be unloading a 48' trailer by hand, Yes by hand, box for box at every store. the loaders did not care how they loaded these trailers, they pretty much would throw over 1,000 boxes into these trailer's. summer time those trailer's would get well over 100 degree's and you're in their unloading by hand box for box. Not cool. And of course, PAY.
