Pros

Meet a lot of great people Good prices and discounts Fairly easy work Clean stores

Cons

Too much micromanaging from the top. Mangers are routinely called out on confernce calls for not selling enough socks or FW accessories even if they beat their goals, The senior leadership is driving the good managers out of the company with the was they handle themselves. Upper mgmt. constantly screaming for every dollar in sales with poor customer traffic and they seem more concerned with tablet sales instead of declining traffic, poor selection and the poor sales trends of the last few year and they have no answers. There is zero future growth for any manager positions, Stores have become Apparel stores and not Sporting Goods stores. Do more with less philosophy Stores are micromananged

Awful

Pros

If you have a decent GM then they can manipulate the schedule to give you the days off you need. That's really about it.

Cons

Upper management, DMs are clueless, can't get product that customers want, CEO only wants to buy cheapest products he can find that will give him the most money. Was there for 3 years never got a raise. Insurance is terrible and expensive. Visuals sales are terrible and whoever does signage doesn't have a clue.
