Pros

It has been a satisfying experience helping people that have gone through a traumatic situation. My writing and communication skills have greatly improved through the work we do. You gain a lot of knowledge regarding the U.S. immigration laws and processes.

Cons

There is often a need to seek assistance, but the senior staff is always willing to answer any inquiries as they come up.

Pros

Immigration law is always evolving and working here gives you an opportunity to learn and keep up with those changes. It's rewarding to know your work is helping people improve their livelihoods after having experienced trauma. Great potential to grow.

Cons

With the organization reaching out to help more and more families, there is constant growth within the organization, but there is a strong focus on hiring as more employees are needed.
