Opportunity to enter in a hot field in the IT Industry: Business Intelligence. It also allows you to have exposure to a myriad of database vendors and platforms through their product's support. Good opportunitied to develop technical skills when working on the Technology side.

Cons

Bad pay; poor management. Not enough opportunities for professional growth.

Pros

Cutting edge technology, international workforce, general young workforce that makes it a fun place to work. World events are pretty fun.

Cons

Leadership issues at the top. No clear job progression within the firm. Look at quarterly performance more than year over year. High turnover rate. The job of a consultant is lonely and has a difficult travel schedule. Unless you are a road warrior this is not the job for you. Also, they are not treated with much respect by management. It is more bill, bill, bill as opposed to solve and make the customer happy with your work and with the company.

Pros

Young and energetic workforce , good product and decent healthcare benefits.The location and ambience of Microstrategy offices is great.They also have good vacation policies (3 + weeks ) and there is good flexibility on allowing time off when needed.

Cons

Indequate compensation and lacks strategic leadership . The regional offices are completely out of sync with the message at Headquarters . It is really hard to commute or work effectively with any of HR team even incase of internal referrals or transfers. The communication between various departments is also a problem.
