Pros

No pros only cons in this company

Cons

1. Inefficient and incompetent management, the upper layer neither has proper education background nor industry knowledge 2. Blame game is the favourite activity across the organisation. 3. Horrible. Shouting is a part of the culture. All the project managers illtreat the consultant and blame the consultants for delay when they themselves do nothing. 4. The senior management has zero management skills there is lack of flow of projects illtreating employees and forcing them to resign 5. The HOD of Talent and Transformation team gives fake promiseds yo the employees 6. There is no onboarding/ induction for new joineers 7. Average hike percentage will be around 5 pc Once you join the organization you will realise the projects that have come in the past is because Mercer quotes a very low cost to the clients and has unrealistic expectations from the consultants causing them to overburden them. The quality of project delivery from Mercer end is very bad. Incase you want to ruin uour career pls go ahead

Pros

-Great team to work with. -Good work life balance if you log off when phone lines close. -Good job to get some experience in the work field. -Enjoyed some aspects of the job. -Some people on calls were very nice.

Cons

-Lots of turnover. In my time there, I think we hired 6 people just on my team. -Not enough workers for the work - Overloaded with work. Also bad work distribution, I had more responsibilities than others in my same role. -Most deliverables end up late due to lack of workers. -Phone calls - they said around 5 calls a day when I started. I took around 10-20 on an average day, with the most being around 40 calls in one day with people out. -Lacking on the technology front. No email to participants due to "security purposes." -Was expected to stay an extra half hour certain days due to helpline closing later. Wasn't compensated for extra hour or so each week.

Pros

Established company Global brand, 150 years old One of the top competitors in the wealth dc, wealth db, pension and retirement benefits business

Cons

Extreme high pressure No hiring initiatives because the company would rather let 1 person do work for 3 and watch them die than spend its revenue High disparity in salaries. Only leadership enjoys the profits/benefits sitting and doing nothing about the problems
