Pros

- Well laid out expectations for what'll make one a successful employee. - Friendly colleagues.

Cons

- Really a place to go and work if you want to use non of your creative or imagination skills. - Performance is 90% based on how many hours you work. - Nature of projects are dull and not challenging. - There is no real 'solution' this department provides. It's just agreeing to what the Executive Compensation clients demand so they don't go to a competitor. - The job doesn't contribute to creating new thought or improving things in the field. It's essentially social and economic redundancy. Unfortunately that is the nature of compensation consulting in general. If you have a sense of imagination, don't work here.

Pros

- Quality health benefits package - Well recognized brand name

Cons

- Zero on-boarding assistance - Many bosses, few leaders - High frequency of non-revenue producing managers result in inflated overhead costs and inability to have the budget to hire and/or retain quality staff - High employee turnover - Negligible mentoring for younger colleagues - Compensation is low given the high number of hours one is expected to work - Massive internal politics - Ethics leave a great deal to be desired

Pros

Young work environment good if you want to work with a young work force.

Cons

-They falsely advise that they will support exam progression but they do not offer it in the first year. Also, the support can only start after one year and passing an exam. -progression is difficult unless you are friendly with the right people. -No over time pay unless you have maximised 6.25 hours of billable work. -large challenging work loads from offset but given very little support. -It’s expected to stay behind after work to do more work or learn new process as no time is given during the day for on the job learning!
