set schedules, managers try to assist the best they can, decent pay

Cons

not all managers are there to help you, penalized heavily for slight mistakes, pay could be better for the amount of work done

Pros

Mercer has good facilities for their employees.

Cons

Generally as described in open house they are not encouraging overtime or extra hours, however, the reality is, behind this word people do more than extra four hours a day or two hours usually without any pay which did not support by Indian government who never think to apply a good labour law.

Pros

Pay, development and training opportunities, and professional / ethical environment. Somewhat flexible hours. Advancement opportunities if you're willing to work the hours.

Cons

Beyond unreasonable hours and workload, especially for client facing account management staff. Hours are flexible in the vein that you get to pick which 12 hours of the day you work... But you still have to get that amount of work done. Same thing with vacation, very generous amount, but you have to make up the work before and after - there's no true backup. From what I can tell this is. Mercer wide issue. My particular office head is hands down the worst people manager I have ever encountered. The entire office feels this way and has been expressing this to upper management for years, but no action has been taken and as a result our office continues to be a revolving door for talent. This issue is specific to my office, and is not the case in other offices I've worked with.
