      Pros

      Meraki does a great job of promoting from within and providing flexible career opportunities across functions to encourage professional development. The teams are filled with intelligent and passionate people that truly care about making innovative products. Also, the perks are great such as free food and holiday events. I've never had so much fun at work!

      Cons

      Some managers are not as tenured as others so you may need to drive your own career path. Working remotely is not part of the Meraki culture, which is different from most other Cisco business units.

      Pros

      smart coworkers great perks-- commuter benefits, onsite gym, great coffee + social activities, catered lunch + dinner culture easy to change teams or projects management is open to feedback, lots of positive changes have happened since I got hired

      Cons

      No regular discussion of salary, very limited cost of living increases, promotions or raises. Very limited upward mobility and the promotion opportunities available don't necessarily mean you'll get a salary bump (More work for the same stagnant salary? No thanks.)
