I was a long time employee that was let go during a layoff. I felt betrayed after spending over a decade at the company. The company took a sharp turn for the worse after the acquisition by Thoma Bravo. No real product strategy other than “streamline” offerings and hand waving on AI. Without growth, most of the focus was on cost cutting. Mid managers were mostly paper pushers without much of a spine against upper management.
