- As an engineer, you get to see a lot of practical engineering applications and learn about various processes of steel plants. - The employees are highly cordial and you are surrounded by very sharp and skilled people. Most of the learning comes from the team members.

Cons

- Connections can lead to drastic effect on performance related bonus/promotions. As performance is not a key parameter, many employees slack off and engage in petty politics and try to play the system. - Chances of getting transferred to random remote places are there based on projects being carried out by the company. It could be a blessing in disguise if you are of adventurous type who likes to explore "Incredible India".

-At design office: good w-l balance -At site: pay may be a pro (especially for youngsters) for those on temporary transfer

Cons

-At site: shift duties- round the clock -For those looking at a long term career in engineering itself, this firm may not be suitable (except for those hailing form Bihar/Jharkand)

No work Pressure Good balance between work & personal life for those who posted in Headquarters.

Cons

No growth Opportunities. Poor Working culture & environment. Life is hell for those who are posted on site. No Technical Training, Leadership training or Skill Development program from Company. Employees are very self centered and diplomatic, full government job atmosphere. Old working Style and technology. Limited use of resources and latest software for design operations. No manpower management and poor managerial initiative to monitor and check the same.
