      I can't think of any pros of working at McClain's

      Management through intimidation management will constantly come up to you and tell you you're not going fast enough and then proceed to show you how it's done and not go any faster than you're already going. don't dare disagree with your line lead or supervisor or you will be fired. no write ups or warnings your just out the door if they feel they have an issue with you, and there's no way out of it your word against a supervisor and the supervisors word always reign supreme even if they're morally bankrupt and have a bad reputation.

      Pros

      It's a job which is better then no job. Some days I almost think no job would be better then coming to this place.

      Cons

      Miserable place to work. Management is horrible. They bend the rules to benefit management needs. Onion Seperators are the new "bosses". Line leads used to have authority. Now they aren't allowed to ask separators to do their jobs correctly. High turn over of line leads recently. Because they are treated poorly by everyone in the plant. Supervisors and line leads must kiss butt of everyone there or else they are written up or threatened with termination. No leadership from any one in this plant. Some of us stick around because we are close to retirement. But it would be a blessing if this plant closed it's doors and put us out of our misery.

      Good colleagues overall. Collaborative environment. Good work-life balance. Great environment to work in.

      Cons

      The leadership is developing teams only on paper. They come up with hollow initiatives that do not improve morale and do not make any major impact. Management lacks direction and is not decisive. Poor business and team management skills and lack of team development vision. Very high attrition with good people getting disillusioned and leaving.
