Pros

Good/Work life balance and management cares about you as a person. The staff from the President down are very family oriented and they strive to maintain that culture in the office. One example of that is the President's door is always open, and he is always willing to talk to anyone about anything to help make the company better. MSC Cruises USA has a good track record for hiring within and promoting those that deserve it.

Cons

The technology and systems are lacking. This leads to disorganization and a considerable waste of time energy and resources. There also is no organized systems of merit review for raises and bonuses.

Pros

Only that it is a smaller company, where everyone knows everyone.

Cons

It was a great company to work for, which had a very good executive team with open door policy, who genuinely cared about all employees and treated everyone equally and fair. Unfortunately this time is over. New executives who came from the corporate world, don’t care much about the people who work there, unless you are their friend or part of their minority groups. You only get a rise or promotion now if you are part of the “privileged” employees. Because of this you can now see a lot of politics all over this place. Some people admit, that they feel obligated to act this way, because they fear losing their jobs if they don’t. The moral of the people who work there is terrible now, except for those, who are part of the chosen few. Some very capable people are quitting their jobs, and more would do in near future for sure. People are looking for jobs elsewhere. This office grew a low lately, but unfortunately some of the new executives are unqualified for their positions which contributes to long hours of work and their lack of expertise creates only confusion. There are no clear directions as to what needs to be done, but rather talking in circles all the time.
